Despite their separate lives, Will Smith showcases enduring love for Jada Pinkett Smith while attending her book launch.

The power couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, may be leading separate lives, but their love for each other showed no signs of dwindling. Smith surprisingly appeared at a promotional event in Baltimore, Pinkett Smith's hometown, for her newly released memoir "Worthy" this Wednesday.

“I just really wanted to come out and just be here and hold it down for you the way you have held it down for me,” Smith was quoted saying, as per the Baltimore Sun. “We have had a very, very long and tumultuous [relationship]. We call it ‘brutiful.’”

In a recent and somewhat shocking revelation, Pinkett Smith disclosed that she and her superstar husband have been living “completely separate lives” since 2016. Despite this, the 52-year-old actress stated that they're not legally divorced. The couple has been married since 1997.

Throughout various interviews since her startling disclosure, Pinkett Smith described their relationship in good terms, and stated that they've arrived at a “beautiful” juncture.

Backing her sentiment, Smith was all praises for his estranged wife at the book launch. He acknowledged Pinkett Smith's sacrifices and labeled their relationship as a “sloppy public experiment in unconditional love,” as reported by the Baltimore Banner.

Their adult children - Jaden, Willow, and Smith's son Trey from his previous wife Sheree Zampino - were also present during the event.
