The buzz around the rumored romance between pop sensation Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, doesn't seem to be quieting anytime soon, as Kelce tackles the hot topic with his usual charm. The rumor was recently discussed on “The Pat McAfee Show,” where Kelce was keen to tease his fans a little more.
Tickled by the frenzy his comments have caused, Kelce said: “It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually got. This is like the old school game called telephone, where everybody is just whispering in everybody’s ear. No one actually knows what’s going on.”
The tight end couldn't resist taking a playful jab at his brother, Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, for adding fuel to the fire. "Please everybody stop asking my brother,” he joked, insinuating that his brother isn't privy to his love life. Jason Kelce had previously seemed to confirm the rumor in jest, but later clarified: “I don’t really know a lot about what’s happening in Travis’ love life.”
Rather than completely squash the rumors, Travis Kelce added more intrigue. “I threw the ball in her court and told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit,'" Kelce revealed. "We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
In a previous episode of his podcast, “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” the tight end confessed that he had attempted to give Swift his number during her “Eras Tour” concert. He shared his disappointment that the pop star doesn't interact with fans before or after her performances to conserve her voice. “So, I was a little bit hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce admitted. Teasing his brother, Travis claimed the bracelet contained a certain number known only to them.
The rumors continue to simmer and whether true or not, fans are definitely having fun following the saga.
