Ling is best known for hosting “This Is Life” on CNN, a documentary series that ran for nine seasons before being canceled in November 2022 as a cost-cutting measure. In a statement, Ling expressed enthusiasm for joining CBS News, citing their dedication to exceptional news gathering and engaging storytelling.
